I've always voted Tory, but will not be voting at all at the next GE. None of the parties deserve any of our votes, they're all an absolute shower

Like i said, he's the least worst choice right now to limit the damage, and if he's strong enough he can quite the more extreme elements of the Tory party. Would he be able to win the next election? Unlikely but I think with him as PM then I think it can be downgraded from 'slaughtered' to a whipping.

This, the fact it looked like another millionaire trying to tell working people whats best for them and the fact that Truss + Kwasi fit a nice diversity agenda (for absolute clarity I have no issue with diversity personally, but it shouldn't be a factor when deciding who is best qualified to run a country)
 
First she throws him under the bus by saying the budget was all his idea, including the bung (high rate tax cut) to the wealthy conservatives that voted her in... it wasn't his ideas, it was hers and he was following instructions. Sad thing is there will be people that won't be able to see this...

Kwasi then has to try and come up with a solution to fix the budget shortfall that she caused, all while following her constant comments about no cuts to government spending etc.... she's NEVER given any information about how she would cover the cost of the ideas she was spouting, even while campaigning.... Kwasi couldn't even do windfall tax because truss said no to them....

Now she using Kwasi as a scape goat to try and hide the fact she royally screwed up the economy with her stupid budget ideas....


What we needed was a money guy in charge of the country who knew we didn't have a magic money tree to pay for stuff....unfortunately the majority of conservatives party members were too self serving for that.


I'm no fan of labour/corbyn starmer but she's making him look like a good option....even though they only seem capable of picking on the topic of the day...

EDIT: seriously... I should at least get the right names
