Truss to be shortest serving PM?
12 years of incessant failure, self servitude, incompetence, and kicking the can down the road.
At this point how anyone can defend a Tory vote at the next GE is beyond me, it's like remaining in abusive relationship because you like the wallpaper at home.
Like i said, he's the least worst choice right now to limit the damage, and if he's strong enough he can quite the more extreme elements of the Tory party. Would he be able to win the next election? Unlikely but I think with him as PM then I think it can be downgraded from 'slaughtered' to a whipping. The Torys are going to slaughtered at the next GE, they are just too fractured now, no way will they be able to bring unity back the party as a whole in the next couple of years, especially with the economic turmoil coming in the meantime.
Chaos all around. Shame he's gone though, I liked him.
They must have some well dodgy pics of him to get him to sign that
Nice severance pay though." It has been an honour to serve as your Chancellor"
For all of three weeks![]()

This, the fact it looked like another millionaire trying to tell working people whats best for them and the fact that Truss + Kwasi fit a nice diversity agenda (for absolute clarity I have no issue with diversity personally, but it shouldn't be a factor when deciding who is best qualified to run a country)It should have been Sunak from the beginning. He lost because he has earned his own money.
I've always voted Tory, but will not be voting at all at the next GE. None of the parties deserve any of our votes, they're all an absolute shower
This is proper nonsense.![]()
What? You think there is a party that is proposing a sensible way out of this mess and hasn't been an absolute joke for the last few years?! Pray tell...
No, the majority have zero understanding, the economic situation has been like this since 2008, but possibility much earlier.Do we really think the economic situation of today was caused solely by either of Truss or Kwarteng?
Genuine question..
I'd rather cut my arm off than vote for the bunch of Marxist snakes over at the Labour partyThis is proper nonsense.![]()
Nobody takes the LibDems seriously, not even the LibDemsThere is indeed.
