I think everyone knows him from Harry Potter seeing as that was his biggest role and latest and that Hagrid was a stand out character. But yes Cracker was great.

Oh wow, this is very sad indeed. I absolutely adored Cracker in the 1990s, it's one of my favourite shows ever. Will definitely be watching more this weekend. What a talented actor.
