2012 BMW X3 2.0d X-DRIVE M-SPORT 8-SPEED AUTO 181 BHP

Been looking at a 70-reg car but the DVLA check site says it was registered August 2020. How is that? I thought 70-reg started on the 1st September?

Dodgy?

Why not ask for some extended test-drives at local dealers? Then base your decision based on having assessed whether you really like whatever options you've decided on? Then look to buy a used example.

Yeah in all fairness Lee, I'd bin your job and go on a massive month long car shopping expedition. You'll be able to test drive absolutely anything, it'll be huge LOL and kill some time. Can I come?

I binned my old full time "bread winning" job yesterday as working the 40 hours a week was interfering with my money spending plans e.g not being able to go and look at cars :D

Nice but parking either of those outside my house / driving around my town would just be drawing attention to myself. My old millionaire boss drove a 60 plate van to and from home and the factory while keeping his selection of cars parked at work.

Very wise. I think we can do one step up from a old BMW SUV that wasn't very good when new. Are you sticking with the SUV style or will other 4/5 door cars be suitable?

Maybe a Audi etron? Being electric you can claim it is a company car and has low BIK tax rates.

Have you considered one of the Japanese and or Korean brands? you can get a nice car without drawing too much attention (I think).

Lee, on consideration, I reckon get the Urus but leave it at my house. You're welcome.

Just get a lease mate, it'll give you no worries, get a full package and save for your own outright after, you've got plenty of time.

The lease will give you 0 stress, get the maintenance and tyres and all that crap in the deal, and don't have any stress of it.

Just make life as easy for yourself as possible and enjoy the rest of your retirement, living the dream now mate :D
