Good evening,

Really strange one. I can't seem to get the hdmi working on the motherboard. VGA is fine but hdmi has no signal. Checked in bios can't see any option to swap, am I missing something?

Could try a different cable? Is it a second hand board? Does the board have any BIOS updates that mention HDMI or display problems?

I would try the cable but it works on laptops, and other consoles and other pc but I'll see if another cable as it's a pound land one in use.

The bios might be standard as it's a used pc.

I have an HDMI cable that works fine plugged into my graphics card, but repeatedly loses signal when plugged into the hdmi out from the motherboard. It's fine with a new cable.

Well I am a giddy goat. That's a first for me. I tired the cable on PS3 and laptops no problem last night apart from the pc. Swapped it for another and booted up. So strange and embarrassing :D

Thanks Jack.

I'm off to hide in the cupboard of shame.
