Knotweed

Not everyone knows about knotweed tbf. Less will know how to identify it. I had a bindweed problem in the garden, before i purchased i never even heard of it. A mate has an established buddleia in his garden, he ignored my advice to keep on top of it. He ended up with more waste than he could manage and it still looked the same size

Knotweed is a different beast, but that isn't my point.

I didn't know about it either till our surveyor flagged it.

I just thought oh cool, an exotic weed, how wrong I was

To be fair, it does have quite nice flowers.

Ok, viewed house / garden again this morning.

Definitely not going to pursue buying the house. Knotweed is quite extensive. More than what i thought. Plus masses of brambles too! Be a nightmare to sort out....

Aye survey flags up all sorts, one of our buyers questioned the weeds that the surveyor needed about 1k worth of "rectification"
Was the usual weeds dotted about lmao £20 on some weedkiller and now not a weed in sight

Knotweed weed avoided tho mate, specially if its in other gardens in the vicinity too
