Easy as you like for Max. Superb as usual.
This seems to surprise you? The vote closes about 5 laps before the end of the raceAgain, race not finished, Driver of the day already announced...
Just saying. God that was dull. Here’s my pessimistic prediction having not watched much coverage; Everyone to talk up the slip stream into turn one massively before the race, Lewis and Max will get a good start but he won’t get past. George will fluff it slightly and lose a place. Then the RB will find its usual extra speed in race pace and Mercs will just follow Max around for the rest of the race. Maybe if we’re lucky Lewis might get a chance halfway through with pit stops etc but if he overtakes Max then Max will just take it back down the straight with their extra £400k.. I mean 6kph. Done and dusted, business as usual for 2022.
Howzat?![]()
If I was George I would be fuming at the strategy today.Should Mercs have split strategy, one going for softs after their only pit?
And stayed out longer on the mediums?

Shame the footnote on table will have breach of budget
( Sorry couldn't resist)

Russell gets the fastest lap - 1:20.153
Perez held it until that, with a 1:21.775, so, 1.6s faster.![]()
YesDid George get fastest lap? I had to turn off before the RB love-in.
well it was a 1 lap push on the last lap for russell, so no need to hold back..Russell gets the fastest lap - 1:20.153

You need to go rewatch some of the Vettel years if you think this is bad.Worst season in F1 ever? Absolute dominance by a team who broke the budget cap. It’s pretty sad tbh. Hopefully the penalty helps even things up for 2023.
