Surprising result but there’s no point seriously thinking about the league till the WC is over and we see what the state of the team is like AND what moves are made - if any - in the transfer window to pad out the squad depth. In several key areas there’s a gulf in quality between starters and the bench and all it will take is a few injuries for the strong start to come grinding to a halt.
I just want a CL spot and nobody important to get crocked badly in the next few weeks. If we can at least make the league not a foregone conclusion in the final stretch that’ll be a bonus.
