vrm whine on x670e

Hello, had abit of vrm whine on my motherboard and disabled cstates which sorted it.

I have CLEARED CMOS and now when i disable cstates it doesnt get rid of the vrm whine..

Can anyone advise bet thing to do?

I've tried power save mode which stops it but i dont really want to run my pc in that mode?

wiggling a tab around on the screen stops the noise so its basically when the pc is idle..

yeah i know right.,.. had enough of it with the 4090 which ive not finally got one that doesnt whine and the mobo started doing it... ive localised it to the vrms above the cpu.. debated taking the heatsink off and using different pads but its only a month old so dont want to muck about with it..

Yes It could be the psu causing issiues.
