Yeah I heard about that. Fair play. Nice that they race in an era where they can all come together and put differences aside for an evening. Good send off for Seb. Well done Lewis.

Hamilton has been noted for not slowing under a red flag in FP3

I think he'll be okay. He passes two cars, but they were both on slow laps already, whereas he was travelling at full speed. Passing them was inevitable without performing emergency braking.

The rules state that he could get either a warning or a penalty depending on the outcome of the stewards investigation, the strange thing is that one side of the light panel looks to be yellow but the rear is definitely red. a lot comes down to was the panel yellow or red, but even if it was yellow then Lewis should have been slowing down as there was obviously something to cause the stewards to be concerned.

37.4 In the event of a driving infringement during any practice session the Stewards may
delete a driver’s lap time (or lap times) or drop the driver such number of grid positions
as they consider appropriate.
a) Unless it is completely clear that a driver committed a driving infringement any
such incident will normally be investigated after the relevant session.
b) Where appropriate, regard will also be given to the provisions of Article 18.1.

37.6 Should it become necessary to stop any practice session because the circuit is blocked
by an accident or because weather or other conditions make it dangerous to continue,
the clerk of the course will order red flags to be shown at all marshal posts and the abort
lights to be shown at the Line.
a) When the signal is given to stop all cars must immediately reduce speed and
proceed slowly back to the pit lane. In order to ensure that drivers reduce speed
sufficiently, from the time at which the “RED FLAG” message appears on the
official messaging system until the time that each car crosses the first safety car
line when entering the pit lane, drivers must stay above the minimum time set by
the FIA ECU at least once in each marshalling sector (a marshalling sector is
defined as the section of track between each of the FIA light panels).

b) All cars abandoned on the track will be removed to a safe place.
c) At the end of each practice session no driver may cross the Line more than once.

Nasty looking crash in F2. Daravula plunging under the barrier, out of the car but leaning on the rear tyre looking winded.

There is no way he should get a penalty for that but with the FIA you never know
OK but if he was still going at full speed and overtook the two cars under a red flag, or even a yellow, then he should face the same penalty that other drivers have received. That would be fair decision by the FIA using data you do not have access to.

The 2 cars were going ultra slow and there was no way he could have slowed down fast enough safely, the red light came on when he was about 20m from the lightboard. Take your Hamilton hate glasses of for a second will you.

Who's hating Lewis, just putting a balanced opinion forward.
The FIA made a fair decision as the telemetry showed Lewis slowed, not one based upon a armchair opinion..

Jebus, Horner really does talk utter balls, he has to be one of the worst humans on the F1 circuit. Did anyone else just listen to that interview, the cheek to bring up the cost cap with regards to the Monaco crash..

Reading the FIA statement release it makes sense for no penalty (and i'm not a Lewis (or Max) fan)

Wouldn't be so bad but Sky love him and he loves getting his mug on the TV every single session so you can't avoid the bloke!

So most of the time we just get to hear whatever narrative he wants to peddle.
