That just states that they're importing some EU-licensed smallpox vaccine, it doesn't say anything about existing UK stockpiles of smallpox vaccines just that that particular vaccine isn't in stock.
I'd be interested to know if anyone knows what the deal is here? Are they not permitted to use small pox vaccine stockpiles for this or is the vaccine stockpiled not as good as the one mentioned above?
Ditto to the US - are they dipping into their existing smallpox vaccines, IIRC they have enough stockpiled to vaccinate half the population, the UK's stockpile isn't public IIRC but supposed to be in the millions.
