Will Overclockers be offering 7900XTX pre orders?

Yeah I managed to get a Vega 64 when they first came out and was very lucky to get one on the day. I do suspect that only the MBA cards will be available and the AIB's will arrive in the new year.

NDA probably lifts on the day and at time that the cards go on sale.
So how does it work exactly?

Does the retailer get stock in before 13th December launch?

Or on December 13th, the cards are released from the manufacturers to allow the retailer to buy stock in from companies like Sapphire, asrock, etc?

They get stock upfront so it’s available on the day. Stock is moving around the world right now no doubt.

As usual too with AMD expect the prices to go upwards after the first batch of cards have sold out, first batch usually has price support from AMD to keep the prices close to reference (at least that's what used to happen).

I'd personally expect 4080-type pricing once the AIB XTX cards hit with the XT being 100ish lower...

It's an AMD launch, low numbers are expected. I wouldn't be surprised if the whole of the UK got a 3-400 spread around all the retailers. High stock levels and AMD launches do not go together.

Not sure why people are panicking over launch day stock, it's not the same as 2 years ago so if you miss out at launch day then don't sweat it since in a month or two the shelves will be full and you can pick n choose which card you want.

Yeah, it's as if the only day you'll ever be able to buy one is day 1. Apart from people with no GPU, I have no idea why people can't wait a bit.

As I said if you give it a couple of months and there will plenty available and you get a chance to check out the individual card model reviews rather than panic buying on day one.

I think it's just the anticipation for some folks who want to be at the cutting edge of the latest technology.
