RX 6700 XT - do they run hot? Recommended settings for MSI Afterburner?

There is ONE factor that may get me to upgade.. I did not know this before I bought the motherboard:

"*CPU performance may be limited due to power phase design."

I'll have to buy 3DMark and run a test, but b it appears my CPU is going up to 4.8 or 5ghz.. so maybe it's alright.

3D Mark is free, don't need to buy it, especially just for testing.

Eh, I thought you had a 12700KF (says so in OP)? What is the board? The 11700K is a bit power hungry, but your Z590 board would have to be really **** to VRM throttle during games (usually in the 80 - 150 watt range from what I've seen).

My bad! 11700kf. I was going 10700, but needed 11th gen to get speeds out of my pcie4.0 m.2 card.

I don't see a free version that's current. I went to their website and it says $29.99.. they say "unsupported version" is legacy and may not work on current operating system. It was designed for Windows 7.

EDIT: 3DMark is $34.99, but I can get it for $7.99 because I have Steam credit.. I opened a CSGO case and got lucky.

For testing you can use an old version, all you need is a score. There are other CPU benches too, doesn't have to be 3D Mark.
