i think 6700XT would be great and future proof for what games i play but the 6600 would be also good right now cash wise :( thanks again, also my monitor is dvi and i will have go check for a lead

Yeah you will need an adapter as no current graphics cards have DVI on them any more.
 
i bought the 6600 for now and when i can afford i will buy the 6700XT and put the 6600 in my kids pc as it seams super good for all they play :) thanks again for the help and i found a lead on ocuk
