Chest of drawers - Ikea? (Less than £150)

Is Ikea the best bet or perhaps a different online/high street store?

I have a Malm chest of drawers and it’s very good. I like the bracing bar on all the drawers to prevent sag.

The malm drawers are great, much better quality than e.g. Argos flat packs used to be - some genuine thought has gone into them, strengthening the bits that need it (metal drawer runners and the brace bars mentioned)

They are pretty easy to assemble to, probably at most 2/5 difficulty.

Tbh just discovered lots of Ikea things on FB marketplace including Malm. Plus half the price...AND assembled.

Buy a decent quality set of used drawers from ebay. There are many, many different types that will all be far better than a flat pack piece. As already said, you can get a man with a van service from ebay as well to transport to you.

Was just about to come in and post this. If you aren't that bothered about potential cosmetic glitches then tonnes of IKEA stuff on marketplace. If you aren't in a rush, just check periodically and something is bound to come up local enough you can collect it yourself/hire a 7 seat taxi.
