The ongoing Elon Twitter saga: "insert demographic" melts down

Lol OK.

And this is based on? Why not just, part own and then see the code?

Or, you know, just not sell it to him?

And, given he's done such a bad job so far with your theory, why has he not done more? Is this it? Stands to gain more, yet he hasn't even gained anything with his claims so far.

Is this how you justify and come to terms with his poor decision? This is really reaching but if this is how you cope then so be it.

It's just based on nothing though

And worst of all, with your theory, what happens to Tesla? Do they just plod along while their stock price tanks due to what you've said he will do?

Personally I also think Musk has bought it to silence the left and moderates not just for the 2024 election but also because he is just another right wing CT nutcase that cant handle the truth.

Welcome to Elon Musk's Twitter, where he'll lock your account for simply saying a man cannot get pregnant.

Are you on some sort of mail shot that brings this stuff to you? It really is quite shocking how you bring your dislike of the trans community in to nearly every thread.

So Twitter is working great still, I'm sure it'll break any day now after all those people with super important jobs left.
Given he's apparently not paid the rent for any of the main Twitter properties, including the HQ where he is expecting people to spend the night it could be extremely funny if it turns out he's also not paying the utility bills, or the data centre/connectivity bills...
these are things that should be simple but seem beyond him (I'm guessing accounts were decimated and there isn't anyone who knows they need paying, or he's actively refusing to pay).

Also things are breaking on twitter, but at the moment they're minor things that are taking longer than they should to put right, and he's messing up even the "simple" things like moving "verified" users to the new improved categories such as the Swedish government accounts were labelled as Swaziland official ones (they didn't even use the official name of Eswatini, they renamed 4 years ago), and did the same to at least one other countries official accounts, I guess the people that knew such things (say the ones who used to work in regional offices, or whose job it was to deal with those countries) were not hard core coders enough to be worth keeping...

But yes he's doing a great job of running the services on inertia, hope and the good/over engineering of the old (now sacked) coders who understood what all those "uncessary" services running in the background were fore, whilst implementing changes that he's had to revert because the "non geniuses" turned out to be right when they understood and commented on what would happen (and inevitably did), and then when he rolls out the new new changes it turns out that they've messed up because they didn't do basic testing or even get people who understood the non coding side of things such as geography to have an input (i'm surprised they haven't labelled Georgia's official twitter accounts as "official American Government").

Yes silly me its the ideology you lot hate not the actual people.
Is it really so hard to see the difference between disagreeing with an ideology and hating people who have made life changing decisions of particular relevance to that ideology?

Same as you might disagree with utilities being privatised, but that doesn't necessarily mean you hate the workers, shareholders, or customers.

Or say you disagree with the Lib Dems, doesn't mean you hate all Lib Dem members or voters.

This is the Musk thread and as such...

I wish this thread wasn't absolutely dominated by the same people who rabidly shared any negative Trump story, it's so boring. Can't you go to Speaker's Corner and tell each other how bad Brexit was and how Rishi Sunak shouldn't be PM because he's a bit too well off

People who are able to effectively evaluate evidence and apply rational thought you mean?
