Been having some trouble with my PC not starting properly recently and going to need to spend a few days troubleshooting (rather than spending my xmas break gaming 
)
My current PSU is almost 15 years old (Corsair HX 850w), so I figured I should replace that while I have it all torn down, I'm thinking 1000w (just in case I decide to go for a stupidly power hungry card at some point in the future!) and was looking at the Phanteks AMP range.
Are they any good, or is there another I should be considering instead in the same sorta price range? (£150ish preferably, max £200)
Similarly, my CPU is currently on a custom loop, so thought I'd pick up a cheap air cooler for the time it takes me to work out what's wrong - What's the minimum you'd consider for a 5950x, given that it may end up being in there a little while and see some actual gaming use?
(once I'm back to water it will go in to my second PC - 3700x currently - in a bitfenix shinobi case, therefore max of 160mm would be preferred as well being as cheap as possible: £25-50)
