I wouldn't worry about the Q-Code display to be honest unless if you're tinkering many days of the week on it all throughout the year and need to know what part the boot has failed at for easier tracking down of problems (but really that only applies for existing systems, as a new system chipset, it's not always easier to track down the issue anyway).
I thought I would miss the Q-Code going from my Rampage 4 Extreme to the Proart which only had the Q-LEDs. But with the lengthy bootups on first installation for the new Zen chips for training the memory, I don't think having the Q-Code would have helped me more than the Q-LED. And depending on how it's done (if it doesn't change code whilst CPU is training hte memory), it might give you a false positive (that it's stalled) instead.
