Why are Asus strix B550-e in short supply

Hi looking around and plenty of the -F models but not many -E models even ASUS site is oos of these any explanation bar the chip shortage, hoping a new revision/model is due before they retire it ?

When I got mine, only one place had them, maybe not many stores are ordering them as they are one of the most expensive B650's. Why do you think there is a new revision/model. My B650E-E has been rock solid.

Sorry, I read it wrong, thought it was the B650, not the B550.
