Hi all

I'm looking to sell my car around April time, its a Cat N so I'm expecting some value to come off of it when it sales, my question is do I price it much lower than similar ads or only but a little?

Most are going for £4000 - £5000

Details:

2013 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 special edition
65,000 miles
Part service history
Cat N

Thanks for any help

Surely it depends how quickly you want to sell it. If it's something that you need shot of ASAP then yeah I'd price it under the non cat-N listings. If you're not in a rush and happy if it takes 3-6 months to sell then try your luck with a higher price.

Cat N normally knocks of 25%. Your problem is that its a fairly common car and whilst cars are going for 4-5k, most are closer to 4k. Realistically, the market is mad, so go in at 3.5k and expect to be knocked down to just under 3k.

Yeah we have already got a price in mind and would honestly be happy with 3k tbh anything more is a bonus

10 year old cat N vauxhall Corsa really worth that much?

Shows how out of touch I am with used car prices, I had it in my head couple of grand tops.

Last similar car we bought the Mrs Ford Fiesta 1.4 petrol she paid £6k was only a few years old less than 30k. That was from a dealer as well.
