A huge favor to ask! - IKEA Birmingham.

I am trying to get ahold of an item from IKEA that has been discontinued at the beginning of this year. I have a set of four of this item and one has now broken so I am looking to replace it.

IKEA has not been able to help due to not having much stock of this item around, the only store (inc the distribution hub) showing stock is Birmingham. IKEA will not deliver store to store and will not deliver to my address from this store due to it not being my local ( around 6 hours away! ) so my only option is to click and collect from Birmingham.

Therefore, I reach out to the OCUK community to see if anyone is visiting this store and can help me out by picking it up and kindly posting it to me. Obviously I will reimburse + plus more for doing so.

If anyone can please let me know and I can arrange the click-and-collect. The value of the item is sub £20 and is small ( a flat packed small storage box ).

I'm afraid I can't help directly. But I wonder if you've tried googling the product name, and/or searching eBay for it? Might be able to get one from outside of IKEA that way and make things easier for yourself (if your attempt here doesn't work).

I will be going that way Tuesday next week as I work near where Ikea Birmingham (actually Wednesbury, but I guess that doesn't sound as posh!) is.

Then to get to the local post office would probably be either Wednesday or possibly Friday next week (as I can only get to the post office when Im working from home because I miss the opening times).

So if you are not in a rush for it re the postage, then I can help.
