Ok, well as I said I thought it was common knowledge that Eubank wouldn't take the rematch, despite multiple attempts to make it happen.I’ve followed Eubank pretty much his whole career and can’t remember that at all.
No like I said I thought it was the other way around, BJS wouldn’t give him a rematch because he was too busy fighting for a World title a didn’t need Eubank.Ok, well as I said I thought it was common knowledge that Eubank wouldn't take the rematch, despite multiple attempts to make it happen.
Too busy being a social miscreantNo like I said I thought it was the other way around, BJS wouldn’t give him a rematch because he was too busy fighting for a World title a didn’t need Eubank.
Or failing drug testsToo busy being a social miscreant
The rematch talk was after BJS won his world title - as I said, there was even a press-conference regarding a rematch on the basis that BJS won his world title fight and Eubank won his fight. There are quotes from Eubank too regarding the rematch talks where he said he BJS was being greedy and he wanted 50-50. Given that BJS had just become world champ and had beaten Eubank already, wanting 50-50 for the rematch is as good as saying you don't want the fight. No like I said I thought it was the other way around, BJS wouldn’t give him a rematch because he was too busy fighting for a World title a didn’t need Eubank.
Any sources because I’m still struggling to recollect any of that. The rematch talk was after BJS won his world title - as I said, there was even a press-conference regarding a rematch on the basis that BJS won his world title fight and Eubank won his fight. As I said, Warren even promoted Eubank back then and he always struggled to hide his frustrations in interviews regarding the rematch. He typically blamed Eubank Snr for holding the rematch up but towards the end he said Jr was as much to blame as his dad and ultimately concluded that they simply didn't want the fight.
GGG and BJS aren't the only fights he's pulled out of. He even pulled out of the Tommy Langford fight years ago too. The guy is a fraud that's lived off his Dad's name, only fighting bums or has-beens. I'm sure he'll eventually fight GGG, when GGG is drawing his pension looking for a final pay day while on his last legs.
The press-conference is on YouTube but I can't link it due to the colourful language. Below are links to quotes from BJS and Eubank regarding offers and demands for the rematch and also quotes from Warren regarding his repeated attempts to make the rematch and who he blamed, again he promoted both fighters.Any sources because I’m still struggling to recollect any of that.

Frank Warren considering new offer to make Saunders vs Eubank Jr rematch
Billy Joe Saunders’ promoter Frank Warren says they are considering making a new offer to Chris Eubank Jr for a long-awaited rematch. The pair first squared off in 2014, with Saunders winning by sp…talksport.com
Saunders offered Eubank an 80-20 split for a rematch and says a rematch offer has been turned down more than once.
"Your son has been offered the fight with me twice and considering he's not even European champion, I reckon £800,000 and £900,000 were two very good offers for very good money. He's only British champion. Other people would jump at the chance to earn that sort of that money and he turned it down twice - let alone the Gennady Golovkin fight, where he probably would have earned a million quid," Saunders said.
Read further down, there are quotes from Eubank that confirm the offer and stating he wants 50-50. There are also quotes from both their promoter, confirming they offered Eubank the rematch multiple times. What more do you want?So this is what your basing your claims off.
I think Smith's gonna get smoked sadly.Hope Smith puts him to sleep, cant see it mind... ITS TIME.
But what’s your point. He offered him terms Eubank was never going to accept.
