Hi - not massively into cars so would appreciate some suggestions please as my knowledge of the market isn't great, and I'm forever flicking aimlessly through AutoTrader

I'm looking to buy a car - budget max £15,000.00. In terms of a spec, wouldn't want an estate but need rear seats to accommodate a rapidly growing toddler, travel to/from work weekly - around 200 miles/week so efficiency a consideration

I suppose lower mileage and newer the better, but it's a big commitment for me financially and hence want to get good value

Any suggestions or pointers would be much appreciated - thank you, :)

It's going to be the OCUK favorite - Skoda Superb. Looks like a saloon but is actually a large (enormous) hatchback. Your budget would get a 2018/2019 SE/L otr Sportline petrol.

Kia Proceed (new shape)? Can get a 2019 ish for about that price with a fair amount of warranty left
Mazda 3?
Honda Civic 1.5 turbo - Meant to be very fun to drive if you can handle the looks :D
Skoda Superb/Octavia

This ^^ every day of the week. The Superb is fantastic value for money and reliable.

What's the reason for not wanting an estate? Bear in mind things like the Superb and Octavia are the same length in hatchback or estate form, if the size of the car is the concern.
