Yeap but thats the adjust the daily adjustment, god.
Eg yesterday you used 10kwh but normally (10 day average) is 1, you get an in day adjustment of 10-1 = 9

There is a section, not sure if in that doc or not, but in the older one certainly that tells you how the selection of the previous days is made.

If you went say 16 panels your around 6.5kw production peak. But you wont see that since your split.
I would go 10 west 6 east so you have a higher load of generation into the evening, when typically people use more.

That should generate you around 4000kwh annually. But 80% will be March-Sept, give or take.
Batteries around 10kwh of storage should see you near enough zero from grid in the Mar-Sept window.

Oct-Feb will be more intermittent you will rely on the batteries more so an off peak tariff may work to charge them up on cheap overnight, best is Octopus go.

You would be looking 16k for a reasonable quote on that, plus a diverter IMO. Less might be possible depending how many installers you try and some luck. Above 16 would be heading into expensive.
Assume another £250 per panel on top of above to cover the panel plus extras needed as your array sizes up.

This is good advice, and similar to my setup (15 panels, split E, S and W) and 10kwh of storage, that was £12k in late 2021 money /I got a bargain. There are indications that prices are coming off a bit thanks to global trade moving again (eg the discounts now at www.itstechnologies.shop) which will hopefully help your quotes.
Ask away on here loads of people who can help.
By the way the overnight changing of batteries from GO in winter is in itself signfiicantly valuable, I will save ballpark £600 on that alone this winter ignoring any PV input.

That would make sense - I suppose the answers will be with us I a few days .....
 
Octopus just emailed with the savings, I didn't participate in the end (so 6p), but those who did, did it work??

How much did you import? It's not sitting right with me to use tons and tons of power early on just to make gains, but at the same time it's hard to deny it's tempting.

I got £5.36 worth for Monday and used about 2.5kWh in the -4 to -1 bit, so cost me about £1 at peak pricing, profit of £4.36.
