Hello,

So I've finally got my first ever car, however I want too upgrade some things on it and the first thing is the sound system. I have looked at websites where you enter the reg and it's meant too give you products that will work, however I don't trust them fully.

I'm wanting a new stereo has the original one looks basic and horrible. I would like one with DAB has the current one doesn't have it, but also one that still has Bluetooth.

I'll also be looking at upgrading the speakers, because I want something that sounds better and that has more bass.

I have also already found some wheel rims that I like.

The final thing I'll be wanting too do is getting the car too sound better, however this wont be for awhile yet.

I would apricate any advice regarding what stereo would work on this car.

Thank you.

Congrats.

For audio, if you're new to the game it's always best to pop into a car audio shop - either the grotty audio shop in the ghetto areas, or the large warehouse audio units are you best bet for a knowledgeable visit (avoid the posh looking shops or the chains, they'll rinse you). They will usually walk you through all the different options available, and you can guide them with your budget.

Depending where you are I can recommend some in Birmingham or I know one in London.

Rims: Facebook market place is full of cheaper deals on OEM rims if you don't mind getting them refurbished yourself (generally works out cheaper, and you get exactly what you want).

Sound: please don't get a pop and bangs map.

I was going too go somewhere like Halfords, but I don't trust anything they sell tbh.

Had to check we hadnt gone back to 2005 for a sec then.
