Cars that disappointed you

Pretty sure it was the 1.3 MHEV with the "xtronic" box, performance once on the go I thought was very decent for its size, just the initial go it just seemed to take a second to think about what the acceleration pedal is when I pressed it, and overall just a jerky experience.

I'm also pretty sure they've done away with the DCT now for all their cars, the DCT was on the previous gen Qashqai when it had a facelift and the 1.3T engine
I test drove one and had the same experience so you're not alone.

Turn eco mode off and it doesn't happen though! You do have to turn this off each time you get in the car.

Yeah eco mode is horrible - the ones I've driven you had to engage it rather than disengage bit annoying if on the latest models you have to disable it each time like the start-stop function - that kind of stupid implementation is doing my head in. At least Nissan was one of the brands not hiding stuff like AC controls 3 menus deep in the infotainment system or silly touch buttons.

Ah thought they'd phased the 1.3 with DCT out through the latest model for some reason. They aren't bad engines for what they are - some nice mid-band power but if you are the type to push on they'll remind you they are a 1.3 at the end of the day.
