Decat plus cat-back is just obnoxious for a daily.

Looks more like Deep Pearl Bronze than Nighthawk Black in that photo. A rare colour IIRC.

Before it was £20 a month, now it's £40 a month. So an extra £200 a year but I will be looking at changing next renewal to a different insurance company come September

Yep it really is! So I'm going to the exhaust specialists who deal with modded cars 21st feb to get a silencer put in

You'll need to get a new cat installed otherwise you're not getting through an MOT.

I had a Euro 4 sports cat from Darkside Developments welded in on my old decatted R26 Megane and it passed MOTs without any issues. My Megane was running 300hp/300ftlbs and there was no noticeable performance drop when fitted so it would be more than suitable for your CTR

Don't know much about these things, how would they have passed the MOT in December just passed? Put back on a cat for the MOT? How involved is this?
