Really in a bit of a panic as I cannot get my PC to boot. Was using the Auros Master Z690 with a 12900k without any issue previosuly. However I managed to get hold of a 13900k and decided to upgrade. I updated the motherboard to the latest version as the earlier ones did not support the 13th gen CPU. I am at a loss as to what to do next. Like an idiot I soold my 12900k before installing new one. I have attached a link to what the motherboard is doing when started but this happens in a constant loop. I cant get into the bios.

Really would appreciate some help

It seems that one of my ram slots on the motherboard is not working. I managed to get it to boot okay by just using the one slot. I have 2 x 16gb DDR5 ram. Both sticks work but only in 1 slot. Very odd as all was working okay previously

I left the ram in place. Just tried to reattach the AIO Pump and was sure i didnt over tighten it. Its a very bizarre problem i was so carefuas I always am with my PC

Have you checked your CPU mounting pressure? RMA the motherboard?

I think it's beyond repair now. Its in 3 pieces. Should really kerb my temper. I've gone from having a half decent z690 board to a chappy sonic the hedgehog z790 board

Oh dear…at least you’ve got a new toy now right?!

Maybe RMA the board in three pieces and just act innocent…!

She does now. Though I'd still consider them over the sonic the bloody hedgehog mobo I'm about to install
That is a rather expensive motherboard so I can appreciate her concerns, however, Gigabyte are terrible.

Make it up to her by spending more money on flowers or something.

Edit: it's not that expensive. Show her this motherboard.

I didn't think it was too bad. It was one of the cheapest z790 that I could have next day ( today) and i didn't order it until 7:30 last night. Dude that money was supposed to help with mothers day. Gonna have to put in some serious overtime at work.
