Looking at £3k to £4k please
Anyone able to spec me?
Looking to avoid Samsung 990/980NVME due to horror stories
Would probably prefer air cooler as I have no idea how to trouble shoot water cooler but open to being pursuaded otherwise.

What is your use case?

I have a 4090 + 13700k with a Noctua DH-15 in a Fractal Torrent but I’m not overclocking. Power usage can be very high if you do.

Then a DH-15 should do you fine. I have a DDR4 motherboard but that’s because I carried forward 64 GB RAM. Things have moved on and DDR5 is the way to go, so I’ll leave recommendations on mono+RAM to those with experience.

Intel option:

Intel Core i7-13700K (Raptor Lake) Socket LGA1700 Processor - Retail - £424.99
Gigabyte Z790 Gaming X AX (LGA 1700) DDR5 ATX Motherboard - £279.95
Kingston FURY Beast 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 PC5-48000C40 6000MHz Dual Channel Kit - £149.99

Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming OC 24GB GDDR6X PCI-Express Graphics Card - £1,759.99

2x WD Black SN850X 2TB SSD M.2 2280 NVME PCI-E Gen4 Solid State Drive (WDS200T2X0E) - £149.99

Phanteks Eclipse P600S Glass Silent Midi Tower Case - Black - £152.99
Phanteks Glacier One 280MP All In One CPU Water Cooler D-RGB Black - 280mm - £129.95
MSI MPG A1000G PCIE5 UK PSU 1000W 80 Plus Gold Power Supply - £159.94

Grand Total: £3,369.77 (includes delivery charge £11.99)

If air cooling Intel, would suggest getting the 13700 non-K instead and running it power limited.

AMD AM5 option:

AMD Ryzen 7 7700 Eight Core 5.30GHz (Socket AM5) Processor - Retail - £338.99
Gigabyte X670 Aorus Elite AX (Socket AM5) DDR5 ATX Motherboard - £349.99
Kingston FURY Beast EXPO 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 PC5-48000C36 6000MHz Dual Channel Kit (KF560C36BBEK2-32) - £149.99

(everything else the same)

Grand Total: £3,353.81 (includes delivery charge £11.99)

If going AMD, would suggest waiting until the 7800X3D releases, it should be easier to air cool too, I believe (video: "11:30 - Power Consumption & Temperatures (Gaming, Productivity, Idle").

Thank you. Does that have wifi & best bluetooth? need those as pre-requisites.
Sadly I need a 4090 with the most display ports too which bumps up my price to the ASUS models because I run this as a single service sending digital info to 3 different rooms.

Does that have wifi.

Yes, AX means WIFI model, don't know about BT.
