I have a HIB Zenith Mirror (73105500) which was installed when the bathroom was refurbished back in 2016.

It has what looks like fluorescent tubes behind the mirror, down the left and right hand sides.

The one on the left has stopped working and i can't seem to find any instruction on how to access the inside of the mirror.

I'm loathed to mess around with it without knowing what i'm doing.

I've emailed the original installer to see if they can give me some guidance but in the meantime i though i'd ask here.

Anybody have any experience with this make and model.

A quick google suggests https://images.victorianplumbing.co...ing-socket-73105500/instructions/73105500.pdf

My guess is that if you lift the mirror off the wall (you may want someone to help hold it), the back panel will either come off with some sort of sliding motion, or there will be a couple of screws holding it on.
It should be fairly obvious, the only issue is that it looks like it's meant to be wired in like a light fitting, so you will need to turn off the circuit it runs from at the fuse box.

Screwfix or B&Q should do the replacement tubes in store and may do a direct replacement that is LED. Buy two tubes if they're not too expensive as typically in my experience if you don't buy the second bulb, you'll be making another trip out in a couple of weeks.

Thanks for the reply. The installer is going to come over next week. He said it's easier with two people and that it slides up but it can be difficult with only one person to hold and slide at the same time.

He has some spare tubes so is going to replace both and give me a couple as spares.
