Teenage daughter asked for a CV

Normal procedure. Help her get it done. Don't use a silly email on there, or put her age.

I always find it interesting that companies will ask for a cv/resume, and then get you to duplicate that info by you having to manually enter it into some forms.

I've never had it go against me in any of the jobs I've been put forward for....In fact it's a nice ice breaker/talking point most of the time. Granted people outside of the UK tend to not quite get it.

You need a website to go with it 100% they will check it out. I know I would.
 
How old is she?

Does not do anything extra curricular? Scouts/Explorers at the very least?

I would really say that personal statement for starting out is a lot better than a CV for the simple fact a c.v mentions really about previous jobs and experience for the best part. Until the first set of jobs start rolling in a CV can't properly be built upon.
