I'll be fun to see what happens on race day but it's one very unique racetrack, I wouldn't read too much into it regarding the performances of the Mercedes..
 
Might just grt up for this now I've seen quali.

When hamilton was trying to get past hulk was that his flying lap he was starting? Wonder how much he lost with the tighter line onto the start straight.

Yes, it was. Probably not enough lost to beat Max but likely George.

I think so, i think he mentioned it the post race interview.

As said above, it might have meant he pipped George, but i doubt he would have been ahead of Max.

Eurgh...i feel rough, had so little sleep. Few bacon sandwiches and a coffee should help though.
 
Hamilton pit radio - George is adding areo balance. He's going to have something like 2 and a half holes more than us.

Hamilton - He had understeer on the laps to the grid but...
 
Gasly, Ocon, Zhou and Bottas on soft tyres.

De Vries, Sargeant and Perez on hard tyres.

Everyone else on mediums. Alonso and Stroll on used medium tyres, only done one lap on each set. Rest on new.
