So the rumours that Leclerc is going to leave Ferrari for competitors unknown, I'm assuming one of the performance clauses will kick in for him to end his deal early?

Really annoys me, what would have happened if a car went wide and dragged gravel onto the track and then carried on? Would they have red flagged the race then?

Sport at its most popular point in recent history and they are doing the level best to ruin the race. Might have put Hamilton in a good position to win, but probably killed the race as a spectacle

The red flag rules, being able to change tyres in particular, do cause issues with strategy

It's not new, but it does throw a curveball when it happens.

True but makes sense, generally if a race has been stopped there's a good chance a lot of the grid has driven over debris/carbon fibre, etc

It wouldn't be so bad if a red flag was only used in extreme circumstances. Nowadays this isn't the case.

Max was not exactly stellar at the last start, so this race might have a few more twists in it

Only place I can think of that may have seats free that he'd think about going to is Mercedes. Both drivers contracts expire at the end of the year.

Although, contracts barely mean anything in F1.
