DVLA car tax website quoting higher than DVLA renewal V11

Just gone to renew my car tax online and the monthly direct debit cost is different to the monthly direct debit cost on the V11 that i received last week

Why would this be??
 
Reminder was generated before the bands were increased at the start of the month?

What's the difference?

Generally as above, the reminder was printed before updated tax rates were applied for the new financial year, as per spring budget
 
Surely you've been getting this every year. I have the same ervery year disappointment with the V11 never having the post April rates. Its a big difference this year.

Probably not. Ive had my car 4 years, and this is the first time it's gone up.

As others said, its to do with the bands changing as per the new budget.
