I’ve just built my new PC - Ryzen 5 7600 CPU & 6800 XT GPU and want to upgrade from my current Dell 28” Gsync monitor. Looking for at least a 32” screen with Freesync, but happy to go larger if my PC will still run with decent graphic settings at 1440. I know different games vary with graphical performance but I currently play PUBG but will look at some new FPS games when I get the new monitor. Budget somewhere around £500, does anyone have any good recommendations?
Thanks.

are you looking at a normal widescreen or those superwide screens?
curved screen?
I'll be honest and say I really don't know. Do they make a difference when gaming, as that and web browsing is all I do. I've only had "standard" monitors with my current Dell s2716dg (27" not 28" inch as said above) being the biggest.

never owned a superwide or curved screen so can't really tell you for certain

the dpi on a 32 inch 1440p monitor is similar to a 24 inch 1080p monitor
the dpi on a 27 inch 1440p is higher so will appear sharper
depends if you're happy with the drop in dpi

(i own both screens 32' 1440p and 27' 1440p - i use the 27 inch for gaming and the 32 inch for media)

damn so many screens out of stock
i think i'd probably get this: Lenovo Legion Y27Q-20 for £230
(this is the 27 inch screen i use)

No idea from me unfortunately
The curved IPS screens appear pricey.

Looks good thanks. Would curved make much difference? There is the MSI 34" MPG Artymis 343CQR 3440x1440 VA 165Hz 1ms FreeSync Curved LED Backlit Widescreen which is curved but not IPS, and £100 more.
Sorry just realised that’s a flat screen. Curved IPS with a decent refresh rate are a fair bit more. :(

Ok, thanks for all the advice from you all. I'll stick with my 27" for the time being, then save some more for a decent 34" ultrawide curved IPS.
