Nokia 2.2 --> Samsung A22 transfer.

Evening all,

Trying to help the missus set up a new work phone, the old one in question is a Nokia 2.2 with thousands of contacts and over 100,000 work texts on it. The "prescribed" method of using Samsung smart switch doesn't seem to be working as the app can't be installed on this Nokia phone. I have looked for alternatives but all seem to cost an arm and a leg for use.

Is there any known software that can transfer contacts/texts from an old nokia to a Samsung A22

If the contacts are saved to her Google account it should sync over automatically when she signs in on the Samsung: https://contacts.google.com/

As for texts, it should also be backed up by Google (Settings -> Google -> Backup). During setting up the Samsung after you sign in to her Google account, it should prompt a restore option.
