How have I not heard of this place? It looks awesome and is fairly local to me.

I don't think I'll be able to make Sunday but it's firmly a location on my radar now.

I've not been before as it's still at 90 mile journey for me, but nice to have something a bit more "local"!

I've heard good things :)
 
The Motorist is very good - just gets very busy on a weekend and has a single lane in/out so queue's can form. Summer evenings are very relaxed though.
I too will be at Sports Cars in the Park at Newby on Sunday.
 
I'll be at SCITP at Newby Hall on Sunday, but The Motorist is somewhere I visit fairly frequently.
 
Been to Motorist several times. They've recently expanded parking but it's on unlevelled gravel.

Cafe/Bar can be pricey and varies, I've been on 3 occasions within the same month and been charged different prices for the same drink
 
Shame it's on the same weekend as SCITP. Might pop in on the way back home as it's about a 2 minute detour, but the £20 had put me off as couldn't see much info about the event.

Anyone know the costs of a display ticket?
