Interesting there was 3 VPK-7829 Bumerang at the parade, they don't have many of those aside from the half-dozen or so hand built prototypes and producing about 5 a month IIRC - I'd have thought they'd be shipping them all out to replace losses.

I wonder if putin in still alive, or they have just done a lennin and embalmed his body and they just drag him around to show people 'yeah' his still alive. i mean that picture of him at the parade he really looks zombie like

Throughout his tenure he has pitched himself to school-age Russians as Uncle Vo Vo, a benign and friendly influence.

Edit: Apparently it is Uncle Vova, damn and blast my goggly memory.

Quote is in reuters I see - happy grandfather , not old uncle as I remembered.
In a long audio rant about a purported lack of ammunition for his Wagner fighters in eastern Ukraine, Prigozhin referred to a figure he called "a happy Grandfather" who thought that all was well with the military campaign, something Moscow calls a "special military operation."
...
"And the happy grandfather thinks that he is good. If he turns out to be right then may God grant everyone health. But what will the country do, our children, grandchildren who are the future of Russia, and how can we win this war if - by chance, and I'm just speculating here - it turns out that this grandfather is a complete ****head?."

Pentagon confirms the shoot down of the kh-47 missile over Kyiv

I don't know if the inventors of the 30 year old Patriot system will get a raise, but I know the inventors of the "unstoppable" kh-47 hypersonic missile won't be getting a raise, they might get a window or a cup of tea though...

I see photos of Russians walking around in Germany wearing Wagner branded clothes like hats and shirts and I have to wonder how it's not illegal. They ban materials and symbols of other terrorists

Rumours the Ukranians have recaptured a few square km in Bakhmut

"As a result of the active assault actions of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AZOV) in the Bakhmut area, units of the 72nd Brigade of the Russian Federation were defeated, in fact the 6th and 8th companies of this brigade were completely destroyed, the brigade intelligence was broken, a significant number of IFVs were destroyed, and a significant number of prisoners were captured . The so-called 3rd assault unit of the "Wagner" PMK suffered heavy losses. Offensive actions were conducted in a strip 3 km wide and 2.6 km deep, the entire territory was freed from the Russian occupation forces."

Prigozhin isn't happy, there is a video of him saying 500m of the territory was lost because the Russian (non Wagner) forces there decided to turn around and run

Intriguing suggest the 3rd moved from holding the exit from Bakhmut to leapfrogging dug in units south and getting in behind the 72nd assault on Chasiv Yar.

EDIT:

The Third Assault Brigade thanks you for publicizing our success at the front. However, let's add details. During two days of offensive actions on the South-Western outskirts of the city, the attack aircraft of the 3rd OShBr as part of the tactical group "Azov" eliminated 64 occupiers, another 87 - halfway to the previously mentioned ones (liquidation is ongoing, the data is being clarified) . Among all of them there are also Wagnerites. Also, as of now, we have 5 captured Russians. The destroyed Russian equipment deserves special attention. These are several formations with the enemy's ammo, mortars and more than one BMP."

I've seen a few movements recently which suggests they are less concerned about keeping the exit clear in case of a retreat suggesting they are expecting to be going on the offensive soon along with the 92nd and 93rd repositioning.

Watching the video if the translation is accurate it is 3km2 and 500 men lost (killed, wounded and captured not all killed).

Interesting that both Girkin and Prigozhin are repeating that the war is likely lost though I suspect their motivations are from the perspective of thinking Putin/Russian government isn't doing enough rather than necessarily reflecting Ukraine's successes. (And as some have commented on Prigozhin likely isn't far from Putin's leash still - likely most of what he is saying is sanctioned).

Curiously a French Air Force plane flying out where the Polish one had an unprofessional encounter with a Russia fighter a few days ago. Hopefully this isn't how WW3 starts when it gets shot down by a "miscommunication".
