Facebook sending automatic friend request to every profile you've viewed

Been a bug earlier today resulting in the above, apparently it's been fixed now but I can imagine this being quite embarrassing for some folks :cry:

Anyone been caught out by it?

Searching for a name in fb and all the "models" (I use the term loosely) come to the top.

Surely it's a saturated market by now for the lot that sell content?

Looks like it was a app only bug - don't use the app personally.

I'm waiting for the day Facebook "accidentally" shares your searches, now that would cause some drama.

Yes and no - my main uses were friends and work colleagues and most of that has moved to WhatsApp these days but I still keep my FB active.

I use it for my paintball, 3d printing groups mainly. I maintain a profile and can see all the photos my wife posts of our dogs and kid etc

I don't do instagram/tiktok/etc etc... so FB is the only real online social avenue for me. I can't stand the adverts and general spam though, and would happily use something else if majority used that.
