Ukraine released this photo of what it claims to be a Russian ammo depot hit in Luhansk

This one is more believable because as you can see the smoke looks grey and not black

Washington Post is reporting that Wagner's Prigozhin has contacted the Ukrainian intelligence directorate multiple times to strike a deal. What Prigozhin requested was that Ukraine withdraws from Bakhmut so Wagner can claim victory to look good. In exchange Prigozhin would provide the co-ordinates of Russian army's positions, ammo depots etc elsewhere along the front line for them to hit. Ukrainian intelligence says they don't trust his offer, so keep declining.

If true, that's treason and Putin should have Prighozin's head on a spike

 
Probably western psy-ops to get the Kremlin on edge. It's totally unbelievable as UKR would jump at the chance for advance intelligence (subject to proof first) on Russian positions in exchange for Bakhmut which has no strategic importance

Why? The UKR has the rest of the world on its side providing them with all the intelligence they need. No doubt the US is providing satellite information etc. Anything Prighozin could offer is extremely limited, if any use at all!

Anything that can be done to sow distrust and animosity amongst the Russians would be seen as a good thing.
 
I have to wonder how Prigozhin hasn't fallen out of a window yet, I guess as long as he doesn't call Putin himself an idiot then he should be safe as Shoigu is a convenient scapegoat for him as well.

Wagner seems to have done loads of the heavy lifting in this conflict, if Prigozhin fall out of a window then what does Russia have left?

Currently Prigozhin is more use alive then dead.
 
From the look of how things are going in the Bakhmut area right now, Russia might find themselves having to find a way to fight this war without Wagner. The irony of Russians of all people allowing themselves to get Stalingraded.

I imagine being the Wagner Group boss makes him very powerful and even a threat to oust Putin's power in a coup. He's possibly testing the waters to see who will take Putin down with him.

Such is the life of a dictator. Putin will be deposed by the same means he seized control of the country, if he's lucky Prigozhin will give him clemency like Yeltsin received or he'll find a short drop out of a window.

The Kinzhal is another Russian bluff. It's not a real hypersonic. It's an air launched, low level ballistic missile. It's only as hypersonic as an ordinary ballistic missile, because it doesn't have the manoeuvrability of a true hypersonic, which is why the Ukrainians managed to shoot one down.

Possibly, or could be a plot to see who is and isn't loyal to Putin - it is had to tell these days what is deception and what is incompetence with the Russians. Personally I see it more as a play against Shoigu than Putin a dangerous one either way unless it is sanctioned behind the scenes.
