my ipace was delivered yesterday. so nice to have a car that puts a smile on my face again.
so far have have 3 issues which are hopefullyna mixture of me doing it wrong and over worrying
1) I don't have the V5 new keepers tear off form.
the delivery guy said it's nothing to worry about.as they sort everything and the V5 will come in the post. it's a reputable high end seller so I accepted this and assume it's correct .... but I can not tax the car (free but I think you still have to do it) and I can't without the new keeper document. also the car is still registered to the old owner so I can't activate some features and I need to take the V5 to jaguar to reset the car.
2) the lane keep asist. the car i test drove in think I just pressed the button on the wheel, the 2 rows of 3 dots indicating the edge of the road lit up green and when i creeped over to wrong side of the road the car corrected me. in my car the 3 green lights go red showing it knows I am crossing the line but the car does not react. I think it's turned on.
the autobrake cruise control, blind spot detection and 360'cameras all work and are on the car. I have the hose edition which is almost top spec. I hope it's not a fault (no warning on the dash)
3) my 1st charging experience was horrible.the 1st charge point the cable locked in but would not get past initialising charging. I tried multiple times releasing the cable and re plugging in.
the 2nd charge point I could not get the cable to lock. in desperation I popped the bonnet and fiddled with the manual emergency cable release . the lock clicked on and the car charged. it seems the charge socket has stuck refusing to lock. hopefully a rare issue.
these things aside the car is superb to drive. a lot bigger than am used to but still great.

as above it needs two presses to release. I didn't know. Then, as I finally removed the plug I noticed the small rubber bung you pull out in order to fit the public CCS (?) charger. Took forever to work out and was absolutely soaked. I also played charging point bingo and got to the services with 0 miles remaining. Fun times
