Hello im not really in the know for what components are good at this price range.
would appreciate some insight.

i dont really have any preference except i would prefer gaming performance as opposed to rgb lighting etc

need everything including a case but will get a 1440p monitor outside of the budget.
happy to go second hand if anyones got any recommendations

happy to build a 3090ti / previous graphics gen if its better(can look to buy second hand)
or if amd new gen is better at this price point thats fine.

also i can move up or down on the budget slightly
thanks in advance

looking to play diablo 4 and then ashes of creations when it comes out but would like to play things on max settings

Just built my stepson a pc
Amd 7600x cpu
Amd 6700xt gpu
32gb ddr5
Came to roughly 1400
I doubt even with a second hand 3090ti
You would be under 1500
Probably closer to 2k

Though depends if you need monitor and peripherals too
And a pc case
And how much storage you want etc
I am no use at putting together parts lists
But some of the guys in here will sort you out with it

Intel/DDR5 max budget:

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £2,036.82 (includes delivery: £11.99)

Intel DDR4 lower budget:

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £1,500.88 (includes delivery: £11.99)

Both with this air cooler, under £50.

I used some of those in stepson build
The psu
Motherboard
Ram
Artic AIO
The ram wasn't stable at 6000mhz
Instantly restarted the pc soon as ran cinebench r23
A bios update may sort that possibly
But only one available was a beta
He was happy enough with 4800mhz on ram for the moment
So I didn't try the beta bios to
See what happened

@Tetras thanks for replying, what do you think of this? i wanted to incorporate the 7800x3d as apparently its the best gaming cpu atm so what do you think to the build ive linked

@mickyflinn this is a build you recommended before, would you make any changes? keeping it around the same price?

also the aio cooler is pre order only? it would be nice to get it ordered today for tomorrow so any other recommendations?

only thing i might personally change is the case.

You could save money with the same air cooler I suggested for Intel.

I believe Sapphire's version of the 7900 XT (Pulse) that I included in my build has a 1 year longer warranty than the MBA version in your build.

do you think it could be the msi motherboards? i previously had a msi z690 tomohawk that would blue screen if i turned the xmp memory settings on in the bios, the xmp would be stable for the cpu butndidnt like the memory boost. if i remember i had to change the timings for the ram and xmp would work consistently then. this was with patriot viper steel 2x16gb ddr4 ram

thanks for the heads up i have swapped the gpu’s, and i dont mind spending a bit extra for a aio.

Probably because ddr5 is still
Relatively new
A lot of bios updates are aimed at ram stability
And if you get the artic 360mm
The extra thickness at 38mm caused me issues
Meshify c case
The peerless assassin is a great cooler
Especially for the money

What's the pc main

Very nice build you need a few 120mm case fans as well

Cooler I would swap to this.

Arctic is the king but this cooler is good , check out the reviews on it before you decide
i have changed the case which is also on pre order so i dont mind waiting for the arctic aio
.

before i order can you just check this case out for me please i have out two extra fans in the basket. its the only thing i care about looks wise and that lan li one didnt look great to me.

All looks fine but you won't need the extra case fans as the h9 comes with 4 fans, Unless you want to add some at the bottom of the case to blow upwards onto the GPU.

And now with the new case
Got 3 mounting positions for a 360mm
The extra thickness of the artic AOI shouldn't
Be any problem
It's a great AIO especially for the price
But didn't have instructions
In mine anyway no idea if that's the norm
There's 2 parts of the mounting kit
That have I guess you would call it a crescent indent/cut out
They're not identical
So had to figure out which went where
And they have 2 sets of 2 holes
Ie 4 holes on each
It's also not clear whether to use the inner or outer holes
It may be worth watching a video of its installation
While you're awaiting your parts
