that initial tweet was from the new paper half owned by Jasims dad from what I read, but no news on it on the website. Is that a case of breaking news put out on a tweet but needed more clarification before adding to the website?

I saw that, but apparently that article was just quoting UK papers etc. Sounded very speculative to me. I wouldn't read much into it.

To be honest, given they are under strict confidentiality rules with this takeover, I doubt someone directly involved in the bid is going to plaster it all over a newspaper he owns before anything has been confirmed or announced.
