The UI is kinda bad, you can only see the option to enable it when the overlay is active.(unfortunately, it seems Radeon ReLive doesn't capture the performance overlay):

Plus it eats 3-4% of performance, nice. The UI is kinda bad, you can only see the option to enable it when the overlay is active.

I do that all the time even though I usually have the grunt for Ultra. I just don't see IQ benefit for the performance cost. I'd rather average 100 fps than 75-80. Some things just don't bother me either being lower detailed, shadows and volumetric fog for example, while others absolutely drives me crazy like AA(!"#!"# TAA) and Textures just to name a few orI personally don't get the 4k res gaming thing. I'd much rather stick with 1440p and crank the settings with some performance in the tank. But that's just me. I wouldn't be overly fussed with ultra neither as like most games trying to discern the difference between ultra and high can sometimes be impossible as well as the performance hit is just not worth it. Not saying don't run ultra if you can, just that sometimes there is nothing wrong with high most of the time. Or maybes I'm just jelly as I don't have a 4k monitor.![]()

It looks purposefully nerfed cause other games have stunning screenspace reflections for not much of a performance hit.
EDIT: Fired up CP2077 on my 6950XT and what do you know.. no grainy screenspace reflections.. huh.. Haven't played it since I had a 6700xt in the machine.
with maxed settings except for screenspace and volumemetric fog which is set to high, 3440x1440p, no RT.What FPS do you get?
Thanks for the information. What is the image quality like with FSR?with maxed settings except for screenspace and volumemetric fog which is set to high, 3440x1440p, no RT.
FSR 2.1 off = roughly 70 fps, 200 watt power draw in busy areas.
FSR 2.1 on = roughly 100ish fps 190ish watt power draw in busy areas.
Stock GPU settings, add another 10 fps roughly to both but increase powerdraw to 320 watts.. Fiddle with the 6950xt can lead to some pretty impressive power draw reductions.

Its pretty good and sharp with the exception that it suffers from the same issue that DLSS did back when CP2077 released which was ghosting on your car when driving third person and fast but that is really the only annoying thing and it doesn't bother me as I play in first person most of the time. Thanks for the information. What is the image quality like with FSR?
What were you getting at 1440p?I was getting about 70 at 4K native with custom settings (mix of high and ultra) with my 7900XT. Will dial it in when the patch lands, see if can get some RT going with FSR.
I'm sure that it will be able to.Looking to get this dlc for my 7900xt. Hope it can run it….
What were you getting at 1440p?
The 5600x will drop to the 30ies in heavy areas of the game. It does not keep up.What absolute garbage system requirements. Betting a 12 core 7900X will offer next to no FPS boost over a 7800X, and would not be surprised if a 5800X3D, 5800X, 5700X, and 5600X/non-X keeps pace.
GPUs are mismatched to hell. RTX 3080 vs 7900 XTX?

The 7900 XTX is >150% the card the 3080 is in raster. No comparison whatsoever, even disregarding VRAM.
Junk info and absolute fallacy all round, but that's apparently what to expect from official / trusted sources now, even in trivial matters like this where they should get found out immediately on launch when it comes to games.
Imo drop RT Lighting to medium. Ultra is kinda pointless as it very rarely makes a difference at all but will be a significant performance hit, for RDNA in particular it hits hard due to more rays but doesn't really enable anything new (like Psycho, which adds RT to GI, sortof). As well I'd drop fog & clouds to medium, it's a nice little bump with minimal visual changes. Finally you can eek out a little more performance with lowering color precision. With all that you can probably go back to 4K.Spent a hungover afternoon getting this tuned for my 7900XT; set the internal resolution to 1800p and used FSR performance to get it to a sensible framerate window of 55-70fps.
