recommend courier to return hard drive

Pack it properly, make sure it's fully covered by insurance and they're all as good (or as bad) as each other.

It's entirely dependent on where you live and where it's being sent. A few years ago, DPD were by far the best for this area, now they're not so great but surprisingly, Evri are always on time here, never miss a planned delivery or collection time.

It's so subjective that it doesn't really matter who you use.

I used RM when I had to return a faulty drive to WD a month or two back. Tracked it to make sure it arrived ok. No issues.

I find it's down to the driver not the company.
You know the driver you see doesn't take it the whole way, right? He'll run to the closest depot and from there it will be machine handled, manually handled, and many other things out of the control of any driver.

Sure, i should have said drivers. But who knows what happens once its out of your care, all you can go by is what you see from the drivers who deliver your stuff. Some are nice, friendly and handle your stuff with care, some dont give a ****.

As others have said, package it well, at the minimum to the RMA requirements (I usually use original packaging if retail boxed, then loads of bubble in another box), then send it off via whatever shipping method has the best combination of price and convenience with the correct insurance.

Basically as long as you've it insured to replace it with a new one you're covered whatever happens.

Royal mail as they pick up from house for free.
Uneatable for small and expensive stuff
