Mag B550 M.2 PCIE GEN 4 issue

Currently running a mag b550 with a 5700G I bought a Samsung 990pro NVME but it is not running in PCIe gen 4 only gen 3, do I have to change a setting in the bios to get gen 4 to work?

I believe you have to change CPU, see here.

Yeah 5700G is a reworked 3000 series CPU.

Honestly, ignoring any headline speeds, which ideally need 2x gen 4 drives anyway, and the fact you could have gone for a cheaper option, you honestly won't notice the difference between gen3 and gen4.
