Emma mattress.... Anyone bought one?

I don't know if they still make them but the predecessor to my current mattress was an IKEA latex one and that was glorious. All the benefits of memory foam but remained really cool. It weighed a tonne though

Don't you live in Sweden? Just get a top end IKEA one.
I thought they were still garbage.
Low spring count and still 1000 quid near enough.
But yeah it's on the list of options.

"Real" matress in a bed shop can push 3 or 4k here it's mind blowing the cost of some **** here

I never get if the "you live in Sweden go to IKEA" option is a joke or not... You know every single IKEA product and shop is nearly identical world round. The ***** the same disposable quality in Sweden too.
There's more Ikea's in greater London than Sweden :p

22 ikeas in uk
20 in sweden lol

I looked at them but ended up going with Simba due to better "real" reviews from what I could find.

Got no complaints about my Simba :)

Not a joke, have two in my mum's place and they're perfectly fine.

Yup we bought some mattress from IKEA, the one on our main bed is still perfect after 4 years, I think it was the more premium end firm foam/spring combo. We also got a single sized one for our 16 year old that that one was basically ****** after 2 years so....

I have an Emma, it was alright at first (within the trial period) but now it's sagging on one side quite severely and feels like you're sinking. Seems a common issue.

Is that the standard ‘Emma Original’ mattress or the ‘Emma Premium’?

We have the latter and it’s going great.

Yeah I'm not going near memory foam now. Im too chonky. It will probably be misshaped after a year of my fat ass.

Going to Stockholm for a few days soon gonna spend a few hours bouncing on beds :p

All of these mattresses come with 10 year guarantees, you just have to send them pictures showing the dips as they have some allowances for it but they will swap them out if it falls outside the tolerance.

Yer we are enjoying our Emma mattress!

Got the premium cool one! So far so good! Look out for offers!

I bought a Nectar matress around 2 and a half years ago and it's still fine. It was about £400 which was half the price of my previous foam mattress that I'd got from Benson's for beds. I can't remember which one it was but it was produced for Benson's to sell. At that time you could only buy tempur, iGel and this one that were fully foam (from that shop at least). We found it good for many years. Yes they do get a bit hot. I had that about 8 years before it was sloping to one side where my Mrs sleeps. So given it was half the price and lasts another 18 months then I won't have lost out in that respect. It's virtually the same in terms of comfort so I'm happy. Took a few weeks to soften a little. Was a little bit firm to begin with. I did look at a lot of reviews and this was deemed one that would last longer than most at the time.
