just wait till the f16's come into play you will see a bigger push backed up with air .the one thing the ukraine has least of .. carpet bomb and straff the rusians out of there ,will also get rid of the mine fields quicker ..The contested areas are at least 75% gains for Ukraine. The dislodge Russian position are smaller but by no way insignificant. materiel and manpower losses are massively in favour of the Ukrainians which is hugely significant considering the Ukrainians are the attacking force and attacking with impetus while simultaneously resisting and even counter attacking Russian advances in the north.
So far the Ukrainians seem to have regained around 260 square kilometres, an area the size of Birmingham liberated and at least that contested. Last month the Ukrainians demilitarised Valdolf Putler to the tune of 1.25-1.4 billion dollars.
The cost to us for assisting the Ukrainians fight a tyrant was a few storm shadow, brimstone, starstreak missiles, some armoured vehicles and maybe few hundred thousand pounds in various types of mostly EOL ammunition due for disposal.
