I’m not surprised at the stories really. Even in his signing interviews he comes across as very lackadaisical.
You’d think that up to £350k a week would motivate you to get out of bed on time and to training. It is utterly laughable.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but… TheRunningMan was right.

I'd argue a consistent £350k/wk would motivate me to not give a crap :p

He was a Robert at Dortmund and he's being a Robert now. His social media post has backfired and he's since deleted it. Are clubs allowed to instigate management plans on players directed by HR?

not looked into the original story but apparently...

In his first campaign in the Bundesliga, Sancho was sent to train with the reserves after repeatedly showing up late for first-team training. Two years later, after a particularly bad defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich, the wide-man is believed to have felt 'scapegoated and humiliated', as per The Athletic.

sounds remarkably similar

I mean, lets face it, the German league is way below the standard of the Premier League, so he's definitely a talent and a great player, but he could easily get away with coasting through the season with less effort but still coming out with standout performances.

Does not surprise me to see he was the same at Dortmund. He could have been a fantastic signing, and I don't doubt he would have been better at Liverpool or another top 6 club where he isn't surrounded by utter clowns at all levels (ETH excluded), but he would have never have lived up to the hype that came from his time at Dortmund, as he clearly just can't be arsed to really slog it out when things aren't going his way
