Mortgage Rate Rises

The number is terrifying for me, considering we thought we were moving into a "done" house. Crazy how that can get out of hand.
Defo.

I've redone parts of my roof, redone render on the skirting part of my house as I had to apply dryrods for damp proofing, installed some drain gutters along the side of my property, rewired whole house and replaster two bedrooms...

The whole house needs replaster btw and need to add insulation in downstairs floors...

I still need to redo the bathroom, paint the two rooms that were replastered and not to mention, a small lil job of doing a downstairs rear extension (approx around 3m ish) with a new kitchen.....

Can you guess how much all the remaining work would cost?

Probably around 200k which in some parts of the UK I could probably outright buy another property....

By the time I factor everything in we're into 6 figures.

It's very nice now though

Yep, it soon racks up. We've probably spent over 30k. A good chunk of that was the kitchen though.

Rest was facias, rendering, new door and general interior decor.
Yup it's ridiculous.

The price is absolutely insane especially anything to do with timber...

Timber prices have doubled in price over the past 2 years....
