UEFA Champions & Europa League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [19th - 21st September 2023]

All on Onana this.

He leaves so much of his goal open, its an easy finish.
Sure he's ricked for the first one but not much he could do much about the second, it was right in the corner.
The whole team is just soft plus at the top level you have to take chances. They have had two chances, we have had two and yet its 2-0 for Bayern.

Im talking about the game just switching like it did.

Yah, the goal changed the game. Utd started well. Very similar to the Brighton game. He’s handed them the lead and opened the flood gates. Goals change games. You need a solid keeper at all levels. It’s a waste of time if he can‘t save basic shots. It’s not the first time this season that this has happened.

Didn't come into this game expecting anything other than a humping, but first 30 mins gave me hope we could nick a result.

Then the lollercoaster begins, heads drop.....we're done.

Like who? He is nothing like Traore.

Goals, assists, great creativity, great on the ball, still only 20, going to be a superstar.
I was being a bit flippant with Traore, but I really don't see him as any better than plenty of players have been at that age. Nothing about him says to me that he'll go on to be anything more than a good CL quality player.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he's bad, but I just don't see what puts him into future superstar level

We have such a weak mentality throughout managerial changes, staff changes, wholesale player changes… only common denominator that remains is the sheer spectacle and focus on Utd from the media, social media, fans and rival fans when we don’t play well.

It must get to them? I can’t think what else it must be? They must sense what it’s going to be like and clam up or something when they concede?

I don’t get it and it’s really getting annoying.
